With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheila Thigpen of Sopchoppy, Florida, born in Mayo, Florida, who passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Foye Winton O'Steen and Nelda Land O'Steen of Virginia; her husband Stephen Gregg Thigpen; and her sisters, Phyllis Thomas and Linda Barrington.
She is survived by: her daughter Julia Thigpen of Sopchoppy; and her siblings, Dereida 'Dede Townsend of Cleveland, TN, Paula Thomas of Winter Garden, FL, Bubba O'Steen of Tallahassee, FL and Benita Williams of Okeechobee, FL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
