He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel F. Barton; and his children, Marvin Barton and Lou Ellen Barton. He is survived by: his sons, Billy Barton (Betty Ann), Tommy Barton (Angela) and Melvin Barton (Penny). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
