It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lila Fay Schmalfuss of Sopchoppy, Florida, born in Zion, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lester Crow and Catherine; and her siblings, Carolyn Dreyer-Switzer and Winson Crow. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Fay Talbott, Gary Robert Schmalfuss (Debbie), Laurel Lee Travis (Mike) and Pamela Chafin (Charles); her sister Lorna Thorn; and her grandchildren, Courtney, Justin, Ann, Elizabeth, Will, Kelsey, Destiny, Jennifer, John, David and Shayna. She is also survived by 15 Great Grandchildren.
