He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Scott Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Moore (Walter), Rose T Mills (James), John Thomas Jr., Tonya Riggles (Kevin), Willie "Scooter" Scott (Karla), Pamela Howard (Shawn) and Kelvin Webster (Beverly); his grandchildren, Belynda Thomas (Kerry) and Kendall Webster; and his sister Frankie Jean Lewis. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
