He was predeceased by: his siblings, Malcom, Williford, Herbert and Lurena Corbitt. He is survived by: his wife Ann Tyus; and his children, Shirley Neel (Dale), Beth Nobles (Brady), Bill Rentz (Pam) and Faye Kimrey (Ken). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to the First Baptist Church of Sneads.
