He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bergenroth and Thelma Bergenroth; his stepson Buzzy Crowe; and his grandson-in-law Andrew Cerda. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bergenroth; his brother Kevin Bergenroth (Diane); his nephew Brandon Bergenroth; his great-niece Yvette Spitzley (Joe); his son Ashley Sink; his stepdaughter Jeanne Bailey; his granddaughter Kelly McSwain; his stepdaughter Cindy Crowe; his grandson Shawn Newton; his great grandchild Kaylanah Newton; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Cerda; his great grandchild Drew Cerda; his friends, George Orgera and Faye Gosser; and also Erica Spitzley. He is also survived by friends, his dogs and cats.
