He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmus Oney Evers and Ella Mae Douglas Evers; and his siblings, Peggy Evers Buford, Dovard Evers and Coy Nolan Evers.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Kindig Evers; and his sons, Roy Eugene Evers (Cindy) and Phillip Olen Evers. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
