He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Bamberg and Clara Bamberg; his sister Betty Segers; and his brother-in-law Randolph Segers. He is survived by: his wife Emmalie Bamberg; his daughter Renita Wiard (Charlie) of Moultrie, GA; his granddaughter Amber Wiard Tucker (Gage) of Moultrie, GA; his great grandchildren, Alex, Liam and Wyat Tucker; his niece Lenora White; and his great-niece Latausha White.
