It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Nell Owens (Sneads, Florida), who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Williams and Audrey Williams; her husband Thomas; and her brothers, Yates, Clifton and Charles Williams.
She is survived by: her former husband John T. Owens, Jr.; her children, Tommy Owens (Peggy) and Sarabeth Snuggs (Andy); her grandchildren, Andrea Owens, Alex Snuggs, Andy Snuggs, Jr. (Charlette), Jennifer Mills (Clay) and Kevin Engles; her great grandchildren, Pace Snuggs, Graham Snuggs (Lindsey) of Maddie Snuggs, C. J and Ruger Mills; and her great great grandchild Theo Snuggs.
Due to COVID, a private funeral service will be held.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Chattahoochee or to Big Bend Hospice.
