It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennell McCroan Bates (Sneads, Florida), who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman McCroan and Inez McCroan; and her brothers, Henry McCroan and Buddy McCroan. She is survived by: her daughter Diann Neel (Sean); her brother William McCroan (Debbie); her sister-in-law Jackie McCroan; her grandchildren, Jessica Chavers (Stephan), Matt Neel (Emily) and Hunter Neel (Brittny); and her close friend Horace Mears. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
