He was predeceased by: his father Robert G. Perkins; and his brother Donal G. Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa C. Perkins; his children, Alexander Paul "Alex" Perkins and Grace Anna Perkins; his mother Patsy A. Perkins of Grand Ridge; his brothers, Robert "Ricky" Perkins (Tina) of Grand Ridge and William "Mickey" Perkins (Trish) of Sneads; his nieces and nephews, Christina Perkins, Lauren Smith, Anna Jackson, Justin Perkins, Will Perkins, Isaiah Perkins and Jase Smith; his great-nieces, Claire Perkins and Chloe Perkins; and his close friends, Devin, Brittany Graham, Kadence and Grayson. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

It is requested that social distancing be adhered to and masks be worn.

“Ikey was a man of God. He approached life with this mindset, God, family and then life. He came from a wonderful family, Patsy you know the Bassett’s love you. Vanessa, you are lifted in prayers and ikey and you have been constantly in our thoughts and prayers these past weeks. I pray God gives you comfort and strength.”
