He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Goodwin and Eulalia Williams Goodwin. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Edwards Johnson; his sons, William E. Goodwin (Nanette) of Chipley, FL and Johnathan S. Goodwin (Stacey) of Kingsland, GA.; his cousins, Lovida Goodwin Roberts and Amy Hill; and also Diana Rabon. He is also survived by friends including a special friend.
