He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Wells and Lavada Dabney Wells; and his brother Richard Allen Wells. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Wells of Sneads, Florida; his children, Jamie Wells (Kristi) of Grand Ridge, Renee Hernandez (Jose Marroquin) of Monticello, Mandy Stephens (Simpson) of Marianna and Jennifer Forehand (Jeffrey) of Quincy, Florida; his brothers, James "Jim" Franklin Wells (Mary Kay) of Tampa and Ronald Eugene Wells (Sandy) of Sycamore, Florida; his grandchildren, Trisa Forehand and Aiden Wells; and his friend Jennifer.
