He is survived by: his children, Sonya Smith (Spencer) of Cottonwood, AL, Cindy Hewett (Kelly) of Bascom, FL and Danny Neel (Nina) of Sneads, FL; his grandchildren, Cameron, Brynden Neel of California, Justin Motley (Jessica) of Headland, AL, Tyler Motley of Sneads, FL, Gavin Kornegay of Sneads, FL, Meagan Hamilton (Josh) of Grand Ridge, FL, Carson, Cooper Neel of Sneads, FL and Courtney Whittington (Trevor) of Blountstown, FL; his great grandchildren, Liam, Jaxson, Jayleigh, Aiden, Waylon, Beau and Mayleigh; his siblings, Sharon Dawson (Doyle) of Sneads, FL, Jeffie Ditty (Joe) of Malone, FL and Bernard Neel of Sneads, FL; his brother-in-law Jake Arnold of Sneads, FL; and his close friend Rodney of Tallahassee, FL.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calendar James and Sikes Funeral Home - Maddox Chapel (4278 Lafayette St, Marianna, FL 32446). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
