He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Phillmon; his sons, Paul E. Phillmon and Carl Phillmon; his brother JB Phillmon; and his parents, Wilkey Phillmon and Carrie Tharp Phillmon.
He is survived by: his brother Jewel Phillmon. He is also survived by four children; five step-children; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
