He was predeceased by: his children, Jimmy Jones and Wendy Jones Collins; and his siblings, Robert Wade Jones, Sarah Carlton and Eleanor Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Jones of Sneads; his children, Bobby Jones of Sneads, Anna Ruiz (Wilfredo) of Tallahassee, Amy Cortes (Esteban) of Midway, Billie Jolean Jones Connell (Chris) of Tallahassee and Brenda Thomas (Jason) of Crawfordville; and his nieces and nephews, Randy Motes (Geraldine) of Sneads, Brenda Proctor of Marianna and Sonya Swain (Jay) of Webb, AL.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
