She was predeceased by: her parents, Dola Phillips and Clifford Phillips; her husband Norris Skipper; her daughter Carol Elaine Stewart; and her brother Louis Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughter Vickey Tyus (Don) of Sneads, FL; her sisters, Mary Shepard (David) of Marianna, FL and Lucille Culver of Panama City, FL; and her grandchildren, Danielle Avery and Rodney Ellis. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
