He was predeceased by: his wife Mae Kosakowski (Buklarewicz); his son Kenny; his parents, Chester Kosakowski and Marya Kosakowski (Gorczyca); and his children-in-law, Joseph Vida Sr. and Doris Kerr.
He is survived by: his children, Diane A. Vida, Richard Kerr and Lee D. Dalton; his grandchildren, Joseph Vida Jr., Jason Vida Esq, Diane Vida, Mike Vida, Kery Kosakowski-Anderson (Robert), Lauren Kosakowski and Debbie Kerr-Mason (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Vanessa Luke, Victoria Vida and Ryan Anderson; and his great great grandchild Prince Luke.
