She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Childers "Shanks"; her children, Kent Childers (Cheryl), Kim Childers (Joetta), Mona Ingram (John) and Carolyn Willis (Quin); and her sisters, Mary Lou Lewis (JC), Ruby Thompson and Carlene Carrigan. She was also cherished by grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
