He was predeceased by: his grandmother Effie Cowart; his wife Tanya Cowart; and his sons, Mark Cowart and James Cowart. He is survived by: his children, Elvis Cowart (Donna) of Martel, Craig Cowart (Donna) of Old Town, Florida, Patricia Arrendendo of Silver Springs, Florida, Lori Peebles (Lamar) of Silver Springs and Deidra Cowart of Silver Springs, Florida; and his sisters, Anna Lou Goodwin and Beanie Bryan. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
