He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, James Varilek (Mary), Dawn (George) and John Varilek (Tammy); his daughter-in-law Regina Varilek; his siblings, Laura Mae Lubeley and Richard Varilek (Marlene); his mother-in-law Rosanne Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Anderson and Lola Dickerson. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
