Ruth Van Liere Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Van Liere of Shalimar, Florida, who passed away on July 16, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Smith and Evelyn Smith; her husband Pete; her siblings, Shirley Jensen of Lynnfield and James Smith of Maine; her children, Peter (Dabney), Gregory, Robert, Susan (Jim McCurdy), Debra (William Gifford), Cynthia (Tom Corrigan), Michelle Van Liere and Celeste (Steve Delahunty); her granddaughter Ruth; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Van Liere, Liam Delahunty, Ethan Delahunty, Jessica Van Liere, Celia Delahunty, Victoria McCurdy Wilwol, William Van Liere, Caitlin Corrigan Rausch, Lindsey McCurdy Wilhoit, Daniel Corrigan, Erin McCurdy Bowers, Rebecca Gifford Henzi, Rick Gifford and Christiana Gifford Barnett. She was also cherished by her nieces and great-nieces and nephew.
