He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa Capellan; and his siblings, Bienvenida Capellan, Alicia Capellan, Teresa Altagracia Capellan, Hilda Capellan, Salvador Capellan and Victor Capellan.
He is survived by: his sister Hadailma Rodriguez; his daughter Louise Capellan-Adams (Arthur Adams); his grandchildren, Camille Adams, Nicholas Adams and Miles Adams; and his nieces, Mary Espaillat, Claudia Infante, Francis Mackowiak, Miladys Valdez, Jenny Roman and Rose Martinez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brother in law, other relatives and friends.
