He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Choplin; his parents, Marie Choplin and Tommie Choplin; and his sister-in-law Judith Troutman. He is survived by: his sister Jeanette Allen (Charlie); his children, Jeff Choplin and Judy Lohrman (Tony); and his granddaughters, Bethany Campbell (Bill) and Megan Walkinshaw (Nick Norris).
