She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Parks and Virginia Parks; her children, Dot, Frances and Richard; her brother Pete; her husband Glenn Ashmore; her children, Steven Ashmore (Rachel), Lisa Ashmore Helton and Cherie Johnson; her grandchildren, Jolie Helton, Travis Ashmore (Ashley), Clare Helton and Jakob Eiche; and her great grandchildren, Jaxson and Chloe.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to St. Simons' Church Choir or Okaloosa Guardian Ad Litem program in her honor.
