She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Curl and Gladys Smith Curl; her son Michael; her husband Harold L. Mitchell; and her granddaughter Tonia J. Babb.

She is survived by: her brother Dr. William A. Curl; her children, Rev. Stephen H. Mitchell and Kathy J. Dowd; her grandchildren, Chad A. Mitchell, Ramon Babb and Mandy-Faith Madigan; and her great grandchildren, Michael and Angelina.

Donations may be made in her name to the Air Force Enlisted Village in Shalimar, Florida, 1200 Hawthorn House Drive, Shalimar, Florida 32579.
