He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Reinhardt Amunds, Sr. and Evelyn Gaarn Amunds; his wife Helena F. Amunds; his children, Joan A. Warren, Helena A. Harwood, Jean A. Brooks (Richard), Barbara E. Lacy, Karen A. Powers (Ron), Don R. Amunds (Joanna) and George R. Amunds; his grandchildren, Kevin, Shawn, David, Devon, Ashley, Scott L., Jamie, Scott S. and Robbie; and his great grandchildren, Allen, Mary, Marshall, Ally, Trinity, Isis and Tucker. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
