With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deedra Abernethy (Shalimar, Florida), born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on October 8, 2019 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, James Thomas and Phyllis Hall Abernethy of Fort Walton Beach; her sister Angela Shaw (Timothy); her nephew Thomas Boyd "Tom" Shaw of Flowood; her goddaughter Chelsea Dowd; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by children, first as an attorney for child.
