We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2024, at the age of 70, Suzanne C. Dort of Seminole, Florida, born in Saint Petersburg, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Suzanne had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Suzanne may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine McFarland Cook. She is survived by: her husband Nelson; her sons, Douglas of Seminole, FL and Brian; her grandson Brian Thomas Jr.; her stepgranddaughter Emily Genevie; her brother Donny McFarland; her nieces, Diane Mettler and Cheryl Butler; and her nephew Tommy D Long, III.
