He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephan Romeo and Concettina Romeo; his wife Josephine; and his daughters, Kathleen Marino, Connie Baker and Donna Brunger. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in Rudy's memory to Suncoast Hospice.
