It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Charles Assalita of Seminole, Florida, born in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Assalita and Blase Assalita; and his wife Carol Rose Assalita. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristy Galloway, Tracy Asalita, Shala Lindsay and Cara Asalita Schrock; his grandchildren, Brandon Galloway, Erica Ballard, Johnny Lindsay, Julian Schrock, Andrea Galloway, Alexia Galloway, Ty Ballard and Ellie Ballard; his brother Dr. Larry Assalita; and his pet Remi Assalita.
A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sorensen Funeral Home (3180 30th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to Alzheimer's research.
