He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Brandt and Beatrice Brandt. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his daughters, Catherine Clark (Scott), Tracy Mingus and Susan Bracci; and his adoptive son Brian Brandt (Denise). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
