She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Perkins (Smith) and Benjamin Perkins; her sister Carolyn Perkins; and her stepsisters, Donna Disch, Ethelyn Runge (Green) and Joanne Wingler (Green).

She is survived by: her husband Richard "Delmar" Atkinson; her siblings, Lois Christian, Lenice Covert (Jack) and Arthur Perkins (Debra); her children, Benjamin Atkinson (Sherry), Sceone Gard (Jack) and Karen Atkinson; and her pet Luna. She is also survived by many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
