He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John Leonard Shek and Patricia Turnbull Shek. He is survived by: his daughters, Madeleine and Katherine; his former wife Sandra; his siblings, Eugenie and Peter Shuntleigh; his niece Millicent; and his nephews, John Walter (Peter Leonard) and Michael Turnbull.
It was John's wish for any donations made in his name to go to the Pacifica Graduate Institute, 4767 Sterling Way, Carpenteria, CA 93013.
