He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Jacobson and Janet Jacobson (Pomeroy); his wife Joan (Peterson); his brother Richard Pomeroy Jacobson; and his sister-in-law Jean Jacobson (Heiberg).
He is survived by: his son Richard Jacobson (Barbara) of Cedar Lake, IN; his grandchildren, Adam John Post (Hannah Christian), Nyambura Kaylee Njenga, Hannah Ruth Post, Ryan Jacob Post and John Adam Jacobson (Kana); and his nephew Rick P. Jacobson (Susan Petersen).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Oakhurst United Methodist Church (13400 Park Blvd, Seminole, FL 33776).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Oakhurst United Methodist Church missions (https://oakhurstumc.com) as Mr. Jacobson was a passionate supporter of those efforts or Eternal Hope Hospice.
