She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Allison, Sr. and Katherine S. Allison; and her brothers, Robert Allison and William Allison. She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Smuts; her sons, William (Tracy), James (Gwen) and Kenneth Smuts (Kathi); and her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Kirsten, Allison, Laura, Gregory and Jonathan. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that donations to honor Elizabeth's memory and the gardening arts she valued so dearly may be made to the Simsbury Garden Club Scholarship or the charity of your choice.
