We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2023, at the age of 93, Betty Jean DeFur of Seminole, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Perkinson and Lillian Rusk Perkinson; her stepsiblings, Kenny Rusk and Isabella Spellman; her sister Joann Foltin; and her son-in-law Steve Buckles.
She is survived by: her husband Ivan Earl DeFur; her children, Nancy Buckles of Wingate, Jim DeFur (Ilsa Sanchez) of Seminole and Cynthia McCreary (Jeffrey) of Santa Fe; her grandchildren, Kimarie, Chad, Melina, Emily, Jake, Connor and Max; her great grandchildren, Arianna, Drew, Bryant, Emilia, Griffin, Patrick and Evelyn; and her nieces, Kathy and Sandy.
