She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Joseph McKay and Iva Newcomb McKay; her husband Robert Alderman; her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Teddy Cregger; her son Thomas Alderman; her close friend Evelyn Alderman (Brown); and her daughter Rebecca.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Alan Quesenberry; her son Allen (Phillip Alderman) of Wytheville, VA.; her daughter-in-law Angela Alderman of Pulaski, VA.; her siblings, Dorothy (Lewis Locke), Hilda (Marvin Hodge), Nancy (Gerald Absher) and Joe; and her sister-in-law Suzi McKay of Seminole Fl. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews & many extended family & close friends.
Although flowers will be appreciated, the family suggests that those who prefer may make memorial donations to Hospice of Southwest Virginia.
