She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ruby Phipps, Virgil Nowell and Claude Nowell. She is survived by: her son Keith Vaughn of Seffner Florida; her daughter-in-law Brenda Vaughn of Graceville Florida; her son Thomas Dawson Vaughn (Shelia) of Mesquite Texas; her grandchildren, Lisa Cook of Cummings, Brandon Vaughn (Becky) of Leander, Kyle Vaughn (Natalie) of Little Rock and Curtis Vaughn of Mesquite; and her great grandchildren, Josh Cook of Cummings, Jacob Cook of Dothan, Jon Cook of Cummings, Laney Vaughn of Leander, Eli, Charlotte and Runa Vaughn of Little Rock. She is also survived by her husband, parents.

Donations can be made either to the First Baptist Church of Burkburnett or St. Gabriel's Hospice of Fort Worth Texas.
