It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Monica Brandies (Seffner, Florida), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael Moran and Gretchen Moran. She is survived by : her sisters, Anne Lerch and Carolyn Vandenhueval (Bob); her husband David Brandies; and her children, Phil Brandies, Mike Brandies, Mary Belitz (Bryce), Brigid Hunt (Denny), John Brandies (Susan), Tom Brandies, Gretchen Ammons (Michael), Catherine Brandies and Teresa Brandies. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Her contribution to the gardening community will be deeply missed.
