We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 60, George Gregory Whitley of Seffner, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, George Gregory shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George Gregory farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parent Joann Whitley. He is survived by: his son Austin John Gregory Whitley; his wife Kim (Detrick); his parent Joann Green; his stepfather Gus Green; his sisters, Patricia Whitley and Virginia Jackson; his in-laws, John and Karen Detrick; and his siblings-in-law, Dan and Christy Detrick. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home (2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
