He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolfo Diaz and Maria Julia Ramirez. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Detres Ortiz, Dannie Diaz Ortiz, Debbie Diaz Ortiz, Daisy Diaz Ortiz, Angel Luis Santiago Ayala, Darlene Diaz Ayala, Wilfredo Diaz Ayala and Willie Diaz Ayala; and his brothers, Adolfo Diaz Ramirez Jr. and Mike Diaz Ramirez. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
