With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon L. Mattingly of Sebring, Florida, who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Sharon find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Wellington and Helen Wellington (Clark); and her close friend Bill Tungate. She is survived by: her sons, James Whittaker of Missouri, Calvin Mattingly (Helen Breitweiser) of Jasper, Robert Mattingly (Davi) of Jasper, William Mattingly (Mary) of Evansville and Steve Mattingly (Kathy) of Lincoln City. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren; her late companion, Bill's daughter and 2 sons.
