Sarah left this world on September 7, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernesto Ruas, MD. She is survived by: her son Ernesto Ruas, MD (Cathy) of Tampa, FL; her sister Rosario Perry (Ed); her grandchildren, Lisa, Emily (Franklin) and Andre (Lori); and her great grandchild James. She is also survived by nieces and nephews along with their children.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM and from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens (854 S Memorial Dr, Avon Park, FL 33825).

“My condolences to Ernie(and Cathy)on the loss of your mother and to family and friends I’ve known over many years… And to my children Lisa, Andre(and Lori), Emily(and Franklin) and grandson James(who had the rare gift of knowing a Great Grandmother!)… I remember the times we all spent together, at the beach, in Sebring and beyond!
