It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Bair of Sebring, Florida, born in Weaverville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Parton, and William Carl Parton, Jr.; her significant other Ron Bair; and her granddaughter Kyrie Wingler. She is survived by: her children, Anita DeWitt (Mark) of Sebring, FL, Lorri Anne Barnett (Edward) of Sebring, FL and Johnny Wingler of Nashville, TN.; and her close friends, Jane, Butch, Rhetta and Janet.
A celebration of Nellie's life will be hosted at First Presbyterian Church of Sebring, Florida, 319 Poinsettia Ave, on December 18, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. In honor of her impactful life, the family kindly requests donations to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society Lung Research, ensuring her legacy continues to brighten the lives of others.
