He was predeceased by: his father Sam Lee Proffitt. He is survived by: his wife Ladonna Proffitt of Sebring, FL; his children, Lee E. Proffitt (Jen) of Parrish, FL, Paula Jermyn of Newark, DE and Terry Valenti (Joe) of Wellington, FL.; and his sister Sheila. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
