James Rodger Marazza Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Rodger Marazza of Sebring, Florida, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marazza and Bernice Marazza; his daughter Wendy Ernsberger; and his brother Lawrence Marazza. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Marazza; and his children, Jodine Borne (Tommy), Mark Marazza (Karan) of Massillon, OH and Jeffrey Tharp (Amber) of Neenah, WI. He is also survived by grandchildren; and eight adored great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church (324 E Main St, Avon Park, FL 33825). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause dear to Jim's heart.
