He was predeceased by: his wife Jretha Herst Clanton; and his parents, Carl M Clanton and Marie Whitman Clanton. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Alan Clanton (Frances) of Bushnell and Gerald Wayne Clanton (Pam) of Bowling Green, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Pelletier (Kevin) of Stanford, Krystal Clanton of Bushnell, Shawn Baxter-Clanton (Eli) of Lakeland, Tiffany Clanton of Sarasota, Stephanie Clanton of Zolfo Springs, Kyle Clanton of Zolfo Springs, Tiffany Reiher (Scott) of Jefferson, Paige Avery of Bowling Green and Jonathon Avery of Bowling Green. He is also survived by fourteen greatgrandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
