She was predeceased by: her father Frank Owens. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Owens; her children, L. Keith Tomey III (Nancy) of Coral Springs, FL, Troy Tomey (Alma) of Pembroke Pines, FL and Patrice Carthan (Jerome) of Decatur, GA; her siblings, Frank Owens, Jr. (Carolyn) of Jesup, GA, Debbie Davenport of Meridian, MS and Joy Batten of Avon Park, FL; and her grandchildren, Allison, Austin, Kelsey, Derek, Alexus and Ashlynn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the American Lung Association.
