She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cummings and Clare Cummings (Oxendine); and her siblings, Lillian Dawson, Ricky Cummings and Tommy Cummings.

She is survived by: her husband Frederick Cook; her stepchildren, Sheri Johnson, Steven Johnson, Andy Cook and Jennifer Wallace; and her siblings, Delano Cummings, William Jr., Wayne Cummings and Lorrie Cummings. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
